Today is a very important where I dedicate my life to answering this very important question. It is very ambiguous and I need many to help me in answering it.
Situation happened like 2 days ago. When me and my Pal were at some MacDonalds. Well, just opposite us, within my range of sight, a guy was eating his food alone. He ate his food halfway, and when downstairs to collect his nuggets or whatever since that branch is a 2 storey Macs.
Quite coincidentally, there was a Mac's worker on a bad mood so she just cleared that guy's food. Still quite alot of fries left and she just cleared it. Sadly, the guy came back and found his food missing, he was curious as to who did it.
I witnessed the whole incident and wanted to approach him to tell him who did it but my pal told me no. She told me to stay put. The customer soon left and I asked her WHY. She told me that the worker there may get fired. Now this is a No-Win Situation.
As we debated on for couple of minutes, that particular worker when trying to keep her bucket and mop made a hell lot of noise. An infernal noise perhaps...Everybody just stared at her, I was thinking, so what if she is in a bad mood...she still must not throw tantrums. Fortunately, some malay guy from Mac's delivery was at the scene shouted at her that there are customers.
Within a day. I find the basic concepts of man that every knew got turned upside down...There is an answer to solve this problem at that very instant is there not?? Most people will help the customer, others will help the worker, and maybe, some others will help both in option C, that is to give the money back to the customer and warn the worker. However, is there a definite answer??
Feeling guilty not telling the customer who did it but also feeling a little ambiguous as to who to help...
